Local Bats are Nocturnal – Hibernate in Winter – Give Birth to a Single Pup

That strange little mouse-like mammal, the bat, is certainly capable of scaring the human population in and around Charlotte, North Carolina. It wings its way through Mint Hill, Huntersville and Cornelius in the form of costumed kids on Halloween. Bats may be fun to think about as you dress the kids in their costumes for trick or treat, but, you don’t want to allow any “real ones” to take up residence in your attic.
